James is an associate at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, P.L. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation disputes in both state and federal court. Prior to joining Kluger Kaplan, James was a summer associate at the firm.
James graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law where he was a staff editor on the University of Miami Business Law Review. During law school, James served as the judicial intern to United States District Judge Jose Martinez of the Southern District of Florida. He also served as the judicial intern to the Honorable Alan S. Fine of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Notably, James worked as a law clerk in the Civil Litigation Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida where James worked directly with Assistant U.S. Attorneys to defend against and institute lawsuits on behalf of the United States government.
Prior to law school, James graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University with a B.A. in Political Science, and minors in both philosophy and Spanish.
James was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. He is also an avid tennis player.
