Biography
Melissa is a passionate family-law litigator. She graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva University’s Sy Sims School of Business with degrees in Finance and Accounting. Upon her graduation she worked as an accountant at Ernst & Young LLP’s Global Headquarters in Times Square, NY. After gaining valuable experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on financial auditing at Ernst & Young LLP, Melissa attended Fordham Law School. At Fordham, Melissa honed her family-law advocacy skills. Melissa’s talents were recognized and rewarded as she was the only Fordham Law Student that was chosen by Bat Melech, a non-profit organization that provides shelter and other services to victims of domestic violence, to spend a summer semester assisting battered women in Israel with their legal issues. Melissa also summered at a prestigious Manhattan boutique law firm specializing in derivatives and other financial instruments. Upon graduation, she worked as an Associate for current New York Supreme Court Judge Steven Mostofsky. She has been an Associate at Kluger Kaplan since 2012. During this time, she has been the primary Associate on a number of high net worth divorce matters, relocation cases, post judgment modification and enforcement actions. Melissa is admitted practice law in Florida and New York.
